Founded in 1953 by Mr. Jaime Lopes Ferro, FRIMEC began as part of Mec – Fábrica de Aparelhagem Industrial, Lda., before establishing its dedicated air-conditioning and refrigeration division in 1960.
A passionate engineer rather than a businessman, Mr. Ferro devoted his life to science and technological innovation, securing numerous patents and pioneering advancements across various industries.
